Hey there boys and girls! Welcome to GMGMTL! The Gay Man's Guide in Montreal. Here to offer you some personal insight into the Gay community and all of its intricacies.
Now a lot of folks (especially down south) still have this notion that being Gay is a choice or that is is merely the definition of who you sleep with when you're sloshed out of your mind and come home after a hot night out with your favorite boys. Not so.
Don't believe me? I don't blame you. I used to believe that it was only about who I slept with. But having lived, loved and lusted in the Village for over a year and a half now, I've come to the conclusion that there is much more to being Gay than who you sleep with. Much, much more.
The GMG will provide you little devils with my insights on how to adapt to Gay culture here in the lovely city of Montreal. If you're a tourist reading this, bienvenue à Montréal, and hopefully this will help you get your bearings. If you're on your first venture out of the closet, this may provide you with crucial information for your first forays into your land (that's right, your land, don't let anyone tell you otherwise).
